FRF 2026 – 19th and 20th October 2026

We’re excited to announce that FRF is currently developing its first white paper in partnership with UCL School of Management and Pool Re.
This research project explores how corporate intelligence can be better utilised by governments to enhance national resilience in today’s complex geopolitical and security environment. Through a series of in-depth conversations with companies that maintain significant corporate intelligence operations, the project will examine how a mutually beneficial intelligence-sharing relationship between the public and private sectors could be structured – balancing national security imperatives with commercial sensitivities.
The white paper will be based on a series of structured interviews with senior figures across the corporate intelligence world, government, and policymaking – offering insight into how public-private collaboration can help address emerging strategic threats. The report is scheduled for publication in September 2025 and will be formally launched at FRF 25.
Thank you to the Special Competitive Studies Project – SCSP for convening such an engaging AI+ Global Forum in Washington, D.C.
Future Resilience Forum founder Fiona Hill CBE moderated an FRF-organised panel discussion at SCSP’s AI+ Global Forum, exploring how middle powers are adapting to a shifting world order and how the West can better engage these countries in global conversations. Kazakhstan served as a compelling case study, showing how nations outside the traditional power centres are building resilience through diplomacy, diversification, and strategic partnerships.
Grateful to H.E. Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States, and Tom Lyons, former CIA Operations Officer and co-founder of the 2430 Group, for a frank, insightful, and forward-looking discussion on where and how power is shifting and why it matters.
We look forward to picking the conversation back up at FRF 2025 in London from 20-21 October

Fiona Hill delivered the opening address and participated in a panel discussion on “The Future of Official Development Assistance: Changing the Paradigm, Renewing the Software.”
In her speech on “Europe’s Security Dilemma: Strategy for Balancing Collective Defence and Global Development Priorities,” she highlighted that the security of Africa is the security of Europe.
On March 25th 2025, FRF founder Fiona Hill joined the board of the John Smith Centre, an organisation doing important work to promote trust in politics and public life.
Sir Keir Starmer’s pledge to raise UK defence spending to 2.5% of GDP has sparked intense debate. On BBC’s The Today Podcast, FRF founder Fiona Hill joined Amol Rajan and Nick Robinson to discuss the implications for security, global alliances, and the future of UK defence strategy.

FRF founder Fiona Hill CBE joined broadcaster Piers Morgan and Imran Ahmed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, on “Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg” to discuss the ceasefire in Gaza.
